What is JobLens?
JobLens is a job-search companion that brings together your profile, role discovery, application preparation, application tracking, connected hiring mail and AskLens so your search can work from one continuous context.
Does JobLens automatically submit applications for me?
JobLens can prepare application material and the Browser Companion can assist with straightforward verified fields on external forms. In the current product, final external submission and sensitive decisions remain with you.
Does JobLens change or invent things on my resume?
No. Resume tailoring is intended to improve relevance while staying grounded in the career information you have provided or verified. JobLens should not create experience, employers, achievements or skills that are not yours.
Is the Browser Companion required?
No. JobLens can be used without the Browser Companion. The extension adds assistance on external job and application pages and can remember professional pages when you choose.
Why would I connect Gmail?
A connected hiring mailbox helps JobLens recognize recruiter messages, application confirmations, interview updates and other hiring events so your application timeline stays current. Google sign-in and Gmail mailbox access are separate permissions.
What does JobLens remember from browsing?
Application assistance and professional browsing personalization are separate. If browsing personalization is enabled, relevant professional activity may be used to improve context. Private and sensitive surfaces are excluded, and pages you explicitly ask JobLens to remember can be controlled separately in Settings.
Can I disconnect Gmail or Browser Companion?
Yes. Connected services can be disconnected from Settings. Existing application history may remain in JobLens so your timeline does not lose events that were already recorded.
Can I download or delete my JobLens data?
Yes. JobLens Settings includes data export and account deletion controls. Account deletion is designed to permanently remove the account and associated JobLens data.
Does JobLens guarantee interviews or job offers?
No. JobLens can help you discover, evaluate, prepare and stay organized, but hiring decisions are made by employers and no software can guarantee an interview or offer.
